"Photography gets me on my feet."

Looking through the camera for the last 6 years has made me see things in a different way and appreciate the finer details that surround me. When I visit new places, the uncertainty of what I will capture excites me as does the challenge of capturing the genuine emotions of others.

Graduating with a double major in Photography and Communication Design from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, I've taken the opportunity to explore photography in depth. I've been fortunate enough to have learned photography the traditional way; everything from shooting with large format cameras to complex lighting techniques. School has taught me skill but experience has taught me instinct and has helped me develop an appreciation for great photography.
